Community Engagement

Our community is central to the mission of Durham Tech. Community service allows us to extend the walls of our classrooms and the boundaries of our campuses, providing students, faculty, and staff with hands-on, real-world experiences while helping others.

Community Engagement is dedicated to providing opportunities - both on and off campus - for students, employees, college partners, and the public at large in initiatives for the growth and advancement of our communities.

Every semester the Center publishes more than 50 service events for groups of Durham Tech students, faculty, and staff. Volunteering at Semester of Service events is a great way to make new friends and help your community!
