Community

Get involved. Use your unique skills and connections for the greater good. Make a difference in Durham and beyond.

As an active community partner in educational, workforce, and economic development, Durham Tech is committed to establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between our students, staff, alumni, and the Durham community.

Durham Tech strives to meet the needs of all groups including current high school students, international students, veterans, senior citizens, and individuals getting ready to enter college or re-entering college to advance their skills. This includes partnerships with local businesses and employers and challenging Work-Based Learning and Service-Learning opportunities.

Durham Tech is also dedicated to serving the community. Volunteer for local organizations, grow or donate food for the Durham Tech Campus Harvest Food Pantry, or serve the needs of businesses in Durham and Orange counties. You’ll find opportunities to do this and more through our Volunteerism initiatives.
