American Rescue Plan Act Grant
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant provides scholarship support for students enrolled in select Health and Wellness and Early Childhood Education programs. Scholarship funds may cover tuition, fees, materials, and certification costs, enabling students to complete training faster with fewer expenses.
All students who wish to apply for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant must satisfy the following:
- Resident of Durham County
- No college degree
- Complete the application in full
- Submit all required information accurately
- Eligible Programs
- All Early Childhood Education programs
- All Nurse Aide programs
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Care Manager Training (Continuing Education)
- Community Health Worker (Continuing Education)
- Medical Assisting
- Medication Aide Training (Continuing Education)
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Patient Care Technician (Continuing Education)
- Phlebotomy (Continuing Education)
- Practical Nursing
- Respiratory Therapy
