This webinar will provide an overview of best practices to support a strong start to the semester. Key topics include effective student communication, course entry quiz requirements, gradebook setup, and additional essential course management strategies. While the session is geared toward online and hybrid/blended course formats, much of the content will also apply to seated courses. Faculty are encouraged to attend with the goal of ensuring readiness for the first day of classes.

Learning Outcomes: 

  • Participants will be able to identify and apply best practices for setting up online, hybrid/blended, and seated courses at the start of the semester, including communication strategies and course entry requirements.
  • Participants will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively configure the gradebook and other essential course tools to support student success from day one.
