News: More than 300 Durham Tech students receive diplomas at 2023 spring Commencement 
Durham Technical Community College held Commencement Exercises on Wednesday, May 24, at the Durham Performing Arts Center, with 305 students graduating with degrees, diplomas or certificates in the 2022-23 school year.  
Admissions
Policies and Procedures Manual: Durham Technical Community College (Durham Tech) follows an open-door with guided placement admissions policy as established by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges (SBCC) and consistent with SBCC code 1D SBCCC 400.2.
Dallas Herring Achievement Award
The Dallas Herring Achievement Award was established by the North Carolina Community College System in 2010 to honor the late Dr. Dallas Herring, one of the state’s earliest advocates of community colleges.
The Mindful Haven
The Mindful Haven (Mindfulness) Club aims to promote mental well-being, stress relief, and emotional awareness through the regular practice of meditation, mindfulness, and related activities. The club provides a supportive space where members can explore inner peace, self-awareness, and community connection.

Durham Technical Community College President Dr. Bill Ingram received the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award during The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro 2020 annual meeting at The Carolina Club on Friday morning.
