Software Development Certificate
The Software Development Certificate prepares students to design and develop software solutions based on user needs and requirements; create, modify, and test code and computer applications; develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve data and information; and design, implement, and administer computer databases.
Software Development AAS
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) curriculum prepares students to design and develop software solutions based on user needs and requirements; create, modify, and test code and computer applications; develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve data and information; and design, implement, and administer computer databases.
Social and Human Services AAS
The Durham Tech Social and Human Services program prepares students for careers in social work, case management, and community advocacy. This program equips students with the skills necessary to support individuals and families in need while promoting overall community well-being.

Business Administration - Human Resources Mgmt Certificate
Employees work with human resources from the time they apply to a job to the time they leave the company. Learn about human resources management in this certificate program.
BBESL Certificate Program
The BBESL program offers three different certificates at two different levels. Students can earn a certificate by completing the three required core courses and two elective courses with an 80 percent or higher attendance.
Web Development AAS
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) curriculum prepares students to design, create, and modify websites; analyze user needs to implement website content and graphics; and to convert graphic components to compatible web formats.

Aaron McCullum, a Durham Tech Architectural Technology student, has been selected as the College’s nominee for the Dallas Herring Achievement Award and the recipient of the Tony Kleese & Christine Kelly-Kleese Resilience Award.

The Dallas Herring Achievement Award was established by the North Carolina Community College System in 2010 to honor the late Dr. Dallas Herring, one of the state’s earliest advocates of community colleges. All 58 community colleges choose a candidate. The state award is bestowed annually upon a current or former student who best embodies Herring’s philosophy of “taking people where they are and carrying them as far as they can go.”

Excellence in Support Services Award
The Excellence in Support Services Award at Durham Tech is an presented to non-faculty employees. It is designed to promote excellence and innovation and to encourage employee dedication in service to Durham Tech.
