New tech equipment for students, faculty, and staff to borrow!
Do you need equipment to better participate in your online class meetings, record a class lecture, or narrate a PowerPoint presentation? We now have webcams and microphone headsets available for checkout. Are you an AFA student who needs high-quality digital images of your artworks? We now have a Canon PowerShot digital camera for your photography needs. The Digital Heritage Center
Durham Tech has a lot of partners that help provide a wide range of services and access to information. One of those partners is UNC Chapel Hill’s North Carolina Digital Heritage Center ( http://www.digitalnc.org). The Center’s mission is support “community engagement and lifelong learning by promoting and increasing access to North Carolina’s cultural heritage.” This includes helping libraries like Durham Tech’s library digitize information, which increases access to the materials. Durham Tech Student Art Exhibition in the Library
The Library is excited to host a student art exhibition featuring art works from Durham Tech's Drawing, Painting, 2-D and 3-D Design classes. The official opening and reception for students and their families is Saturday, April 16 from 11:00 - 1:00. Works will remain on display until May 6th.
