News: Community leaders re-elected to top positions of Durham Tech Board of Trustees
Longtime community leaders John F. Burness and Dr. Tara L. Fikes have been reelected as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, of the Durham Technical Community College Board of Trustees.
The two were first elected to their posts in the fall of 2017 for the 2017-18 academic year.

Clinical Research - Data Management Certificate
Individuals are eligible to enroll in the Data Management certificate program if they have completed a Clinical Research AAS degree or any Clinical Research certificate, a baccalaureate or graduate degree in computer information systems, biological science, chemistry, or an allied health area, or have at least one year of pharmaceutical, biotechnological, or medical device industry experience in clinical data management.
Mental Health Technician (Continuing Education)
This program provides introductory training for those entering the field of mental health services or as a refresher for those currently working within the mental health or behavioral health field.
Natural Hair Care (Continuing Education)
The Natural Hair Care program is designed to teach how to care for natural hair without the use of chemicals such as perms/relaxers and hair color.
Manicuring (Continuing Education)
The 300-hour course teaches the art of caring for the hands and feet. After successfully completing the course, the students will be able to sit for the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art's exam to be a licensed Manicurist.
Early Childhood Education - Preschool Certificate
Understanding childhood development is key in the early childhood field. This series of courses will teach you about this aspect of children's lives and more.
