Birth to Kindergarten
Students have several paths to a bachelor's degree in Birth to Kindergarten education.
Mathematics
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Mathematics at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Science (AS) degree.
STEM Education
Start your path to a STEM or teaching career with an AA, AATP, AS, or ASTP degree from Durham Tech. Build a strong foundation for your bachelor's degree!
Statistics
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Statistics at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Science (AS) degree.
Environmental Science
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Environmental Science at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree.
Architecture
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Architecture at UNC-Charlotte would complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree or the AAS in Architectural Technology degree to transfer into the UNC Greensboro’s 2+ program for Interior Architecture.
Kindergarten Teachers
A kindergarten teacher is responsible for integrating young children into the world of learning by teaching them social skills, personal hygiene, basic reading skills, art, and music.
Physical and Health Education
Students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in Physical Education should complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree which will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions.
Public Health Education
Students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in Public Health Studies should complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree which will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions.
History
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in History at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree.
