Continuing Education Class Visitation Guidelines
The Plan determines the required frequency of class visitations for compliance.
Insurance (Continuing Education)
Insurance prelicensing courses prepare students to learn general terms and concepts associated with Life, Accident and Health/Sickness, and Medicare Supplement/Long-Term Care; policy provisions; options and various features; and NC statutes and regulations.
HVAC (Continuing Education)
Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) courses prepare students for installation, repair, and maintenance of these systems. Heating technology is offered in the fall and air conditioning in the spring.
Criminal Justice Professional Training (Continuing Education)
The Criminal Justice Professional Training Program offers classes to area law enforcement officers. These classes provide re-certification for current skills and opportunities to enhance an officer's skills in new areas. The program offers many specialized classes based upon requests and the needs of the law enforcement agencies we serve.
Manicuring (Continuing Education)
The 300-hour course teaches the art of caring for the hands and feet. After successfully completing the course, the students will be able to sit for the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art's exam to be a licensed Manicurist.
911 Training (Continuing Education)
The training prepares individuals for employment within an Emergency 911 Telecommunications Center.

Plumbing (Continuing Education)
Plumbing Level I (fall) and Plumbing Level II (spring) prepare students for basic installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and components and explores plumbing code, permitting, and math.
Credit by Examination: Early Childhood Education
Credit by exam for EDU 119 is offered at the beginning of each semester. View exam dates.
