Durham Tech Community College’s Board of Trustees welcomed new board Chair Dr. Pat Ashley and new Vice Chair Gracie Johnson-Lopez to their new roles Tuesday, Aug. 19. The board unanimously elected them in June and their terms began July 1 and will run through June 2026.
Durham Tech’s plan is monitored by an internal team and reviewed for approval every three (3) years by the College’s Board of Trustees. The accountability and integrity planning framework establishes goals and objectives.
The Plan determines the required frequency of class visitations for compliance.
Durham Technical Community College will require all full-time, part-time, and contract employees to either provide proof of vaccination or submit weekly COVID-19 test results starting in October.
Former Durham Tech Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services Matt Williams received the Old North State Award for his more than 30 years of hard work and dedication to the North Carolina Community College System.
