When Durham Tech graduate and aspiring professional actor Auntais Faulkner saw that a Portland, Oregon, theater was accepting applications for its acting apprenticeship program, he knew he had to apply.
So, he did. And, he got in.

Most buildings at Durham Tech are currently assigned a Building Safety Captain. These individuals are your colleagues who are trained to ensure the safety of their assigned buildings’ occupants. Building Safety Captains are trained to effectively assess situations and provide safety instruction and assistance to employees, students, and visitors.
Durham Tech is one of eight community colleges in the region to join the pilot program for the NC State Community College Collaboration, or C3. The new Durham Tech program agreement was signed Thursday in Durham.
Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce’s president and CEO Geoff Durham has been appointed to the Durham Tech Board of Trustees.
