Toyama Program
Our initiative to provide an English language immersion program with the Toyama College for Foreign Languages started in 2012 in collaboration with the Sister Cities of Durham. The program provides an opportunity for students from Japan to come to the United States and study English in an authentic environment. Our custom-developed curriculum offers 50 hours of classroom instruction by our highly qualified teachers, while the students stay with host families. The program has been running for 8 years with huge success.
Au Pair Program
Working as an au pair is a wonderful opportunity to learn a language, immerse in a new culture and travel to new places. Our educational immersion programs give au pairs the opportunity to explore the rich history and the beauty our region offers while developing their English language skills.
