Short Term
The Effective Teacher Training course can be completed online in just 30 hours and prepare students for immediate employment.
Students interested in becoming a Licensed Birth-Kindergarten, Elementary, or Middle School Teacher can learn more about our Early Childhood Education programs.
Courses starting on July 1 or later will be open for registration on July 1. Students planning to register for courses with prerequisites should contact the program director to learn how to submit them ahead of time.
EDU-3002U Effective Teacher Training
This course is designed to provide teacher assistants and substitutes with principles and practices of effective teaching. Core topics will focus on skills for basic classroom management, childhood development, and instructional techniques.
