Topics include innovative strategies in selecting and recruiting employees, training and career development, overseeing compensation packages, managing benefits plans, and other duties that serve to maximize a company's operations and its employees' job satisfaction.

Students will receive the necessary training to acquire and exhibit an understanding of the important role that human resources plays in an organization, and includes components in the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Professional in Human Resources (HRCI PHR), and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification exams.
