Durham Technical Community College will close later this month on property adjacent to Main Campus as a part of the College’s expansion. The Durham Tech Board of Trustees approved the purchase of 1551 Cooper Street at a June 16 meeting. The deal is expected to close July 15.

Durham Tech President Bill Ingram is one of 10 retiring college presidents and chancellors who will receive the Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Award from the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK).
“I think I’m more ambitious today because I see what I have been able to do through Durham Tech,” Conc said. “It’s such a good environment to figure out what you really want to do. When I came to the States, I never thought I’d make it this far. When I was in Austria, I never really thought I could go to America, but, when it happened I thought, ‘Wow, I did it.’”
