How to Enroll
Students must meet the following requirements:
- Register for your course in Self-Service.
- After enrollment, you will receive a message prompting you to complete a required form to remain enrolled in the course.
- A Program Support Specialist will review and verify your documentation.
- Students who do not complete the required form will be removed from the course.

MHA-3100A Mental Health Technician
This course provides introductory training for those entering the field of mental health services or as a refresher for those currently working within the mental health or behavioral health field. In addition, the course will offer basic to increased awareness and understanding of a holistic view to mental health care for nurses and other health care professionals. The course prepares students for a national certification as a Mental Health Technician. Prerequisites: 1) Must be at least 18 years old, AND 2) High School Diploma or Equivalent.
