Mental Health Technician (Continuing Education)

Short Term

The Mental Health Technician program provides introductory training for those entering the field of mental health services or as a refresher for those currently working within the mental health or behavioral health field. In addition, the course will offer basic to increased awareness and understanding of a holistic view to mental health care for nurses and other health care professionals. The course prepares students for a national certification as a Mental Health Technician. Textbook required.

How to Enroll

Students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Register for your course in Self-Service.
  2. After enrollment, you will receive a message prompting you to complete a required form to remain enrolled in the course.
  3. A Program Support Specialist will review and verify your documentation.
  4. Students who do not complete the required form will be removed from the course.
