News: Learning from the Best: Durham Tech seeks external assessment from Aspen Institute, Achieving the Dream, and Belk Center
Durham Tech will embark on a strategic planning process with the help of three of the country’s best thought-leading institutions: Aspen Institute’s Center for College Excellence, Achieving the Dream, and the Belk Center at NC State.
Sexual Misconduct/Title IX

Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is a broad-based law formulated in 1994 in response to the increasing violence against women in America. The Act has provisions starting from funding of domestic-violence programs to new civil rights remedies for women who were victims of gender-based attacks.

Laws and ethical guidelines require that all interactions with the Counseling and Student Development office, including content of your appointments, your records, scheduling of or attendance at appointments, and progress in counseling, are confidential.
