Construction Management Technology Certificate

Short Term

Durham Tech's Construction Management Technology Certificate program prepares students with the basic skills needed to help manage construction projects from start to finish.

This program is designed for (1) students already working in construction who want to advance into a management role, or (2) students planning to transfer into a Bachelor's program in Construction Management. Graduates with adequate industry experience may qualify for management level roles in a variety of construction settings.

Students learn about construction materials and methods, safety, blueprint reading, estimating, scheduling, and site supervision. They also develop skills in using construction software, coordinating projects, maintaining quality, and communicating effectively with teams.
