The Durham Tech community is here to support you in reaching your academic and professional goals whether you're just starting your degree or finishing it. Whether you're making a career change or looking for a promotion in your current career, we offer degrees, diplomas, and certificates that will help you earn the job you want.

Adult learners make up 34% of students at Durham Tech so you are not alone here. Courses are available online, partially online (hybrid), or in the classroom to suit your preferred style of learning. Many programs can be completed mostly or entirely online and the college offers both short-term options long-term options.

There are many financial aid opportunities and 50% of curriculum (credit) students receive some sort of financial aid as federal financial aid, grants, or scholarships just by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Continuing Education students can also receive financial aid for non-credit programs

The NC Longleaf Complete Grant is designed to help “near-completers” — those who have finished at least 30 credit hours in their program of study — pay for classes needed to complete that program. The amount you may be awarded ranges from $500 to $1,300 based on the number of credit hours you take, and can be combined with other financial aid. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply.
